Folate RBC Test

A specialized test that measures folate levels within red blood cells to assess long-term folate stores essential for DNA synthesis, red blood cell formation, and cardiovascular support. Unlike serum folate, which fluctuates daily, RBC folate reflects longer-term folate status. It helps detect deficiencies that can cause anemia or elevated homocysteine levels.
